Protocol on comparative evaluation of the effect of application of 38% silver diamine fluoride on sealing ability of Biodentine and MTA Angelus as a perforation repair material: a confocal laser microscopic study

Background: Perforation can occur while performing root canal treatment. Biodentine has been made utilizing MTA (mineral trioxide aggregate) as a base, and claims to improve its properties in aspects such physical property, durability, handling, well many other applications restorative dentistry. The chemical components of SDF (silver diamine fluoride) have suggested the following benefits: fluoride aids remineralization prevention, silver salts induce dentin sclerosis/calcification, exhibit germicidal actions. It works by occluding dentinal tubules thus helping preventing microleakage. This study aims focus on use perforation repair material using confocal microscope. Methods: Mandibular molars will be selected for study. divided into 4 groups: Group 1: without application 38% SDF; 2: with 3: Angelus 4: along SDF. An artificial 2 mm diameter directly middle pulpal floor. (FAMAGAIN) applied walls according manufacturer’s instructions experimental groups (Groups 4). In four groups, 1 3 (perforation material). To evaluate sealing capacity this study, we average values coronal dye leakage at site Escobar’s criteria, which are used assess infiltration proportions. Conclusions: is expected that may show better ability than alone.
